  • Junior Actionscript (AS3) Programmer

    We are looking for a Junior Actionscript programmer to help our development team handle various requests from our marketing & content teams.

    We are looking for an ActionScript 3 junior level programmer who will handle numerous RIA projects.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Extensive knowledge of ActionScript 3
    • Object-Oriented Programmer
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

    Pluses:

    • Project Management experience
    • Mobile exporting using AIR
    • Flex component usage
    • SQL
    • SSAS
    • Wowza programmer
    • Red5 (or RedBox) programmer
    • Experience with Streaming Audio/Video in AS3
    • AS2

  • Junior Game Manager

    We are looking for a Junior Content Manager to take charge of adding flash, text, graphic/visual and interactive content for large online game websites. Current and/or previous experience with CMS (Content Management Systems), WordPress, FTP, flash, html, PhotoShop and the latest social media is a MUST. Applicants MUST have experience working in a casual, social or online gaming company.

    • Soliciting third party game studios for top quality content
    • Brand management
    • Statistical analytics of game plays, duration and user engagement
    • Definition, documentation, implementation and automation of efficient release processes.
    • Working closely with both development and operational teams to ensure the release process is well understood and correctly executed.
    • Game reviews, blogging, social media

Interview Tips

Don't wear a suit.
Wear something professional, yet comfortable. You will not be expected to wear a suit during the week and we want the interview process to be natural, not forced. Interviews at Game Pub often prompt discussions. We are not looking for someone to simply answer, "yes I can do this" or not.
